Lab data
Triangle Mints potency: THC, CBD and terpenes from 234 lab tests
In 234 state lab tests, Triangle Mints flower had a median total THC of 23.19%, with the middle half of results between 20.00% and 25.75%, the sixth-highest median of the 43 strains with at least 100 tests in our dataset.1 CBD is negligible, and β-caryophyllene is the leading terpene, followed by limonene and α-humulene; Leafly also lists caryophyllene first.1,2

How published THC figures compare
Strain databases publish single figures: Leafly lists 27% THC and 2% CBG, and AllBud 28%, though its description cites a 29–31% average.2,3 Hytiva’s own tested batch came in at 18.62%.4 In state lab results, 90% of Triangle Mints flower tested below 27.13% and one in ten below 17.64%; against those results, Leafly’s 27% sits in the top quarter, AllBud’s 28% above nine in ten of them and Hytiva’s batch in the bottom quarter.1 The highest single result in our data was 31.76%.1
By state, medians ran from 22.02% in Michigan (162 tests) to 27.21% in Maryland (28). Yearly medians ranged from 21.34% in 2022 (133 tests) to 24.80% in 2021 (54), but only 2022 has 100 or more tests. The states reporting changed from year to year (2020: all 14 from Michigan; 2021: 44 of 54 from Michigan; 2022: 104 of 133 from Michigan; 2023: 17 of 19 from Nevada). Differences between states and years therefore mix growers, labs and markets, not only plants.1

Limits of this data
- Coverage is uneven. Michigan (162), Nevada (42), Maryland (28) and Washington (2) supply all of the 234 tests, which date from 2020 to 2023; Michigan alone supplies 69.2%. Oregon and Rhode Island results carry no product names and could not be matched.1
- Some labs report higher THC than others, so we publish medians and middle ranges rather than maxima. No single lab accounts for more than 38.9% of these tests (15 labs in total), but every Maryland test came from a single lab.1
- Terpene medians come from 42 tests with individual terpene values, all of them from Nevada labs, so the profile is Nevada’s. Maryland reports only total terpenes (28 tests), and Michigan and Washington report none.1
- We matched names strictly: near-miss names and crosses (for example "Triangle Mintz Flower", 79 results) are excluded and counted, and duplicate certificates are removed. Numbered names stay in: 22 tests are labelled "Triangle Mints #23", a name Leafly also gives Wedding Cake.1,5
