Triangle Mints is a hybrid that Seed Junky Genetics bred by crossing Triangle Kush with Animal Mints; Leafly and AllBud list it as 70% sativa, and its #23 phenotype became Wedding Cake, a name some databases use for the whole line.1,2,3 It tests at a median total THC of 23.19% across 234 state lab tests of Triangle Mints flower, with the middle half of results between 20.00% and 25.75%.4 CBD is negligible: none of the 72 tests that reported CBD reached 1%.4

Not quite. Wedding Cake is one plant selected from the Triangle Mints line, its #23 phenotype, which spread as a cutting; Triangle Mints is the wider Triangle Kush × Animal Mints cross. Databases blur the two: Leafly subtitles its Triangle Mints page “aka Wedding Cake” while listing Wedding Cake as its child, and Weedmaps’ Triangle Mints address opens its Wedding Cake page.1,3,10
Stronger than most strains we track. Its median total THC across 234 tests was 23.19%, the sixth-highest median of the 43 strains with at least 100 tests in our dataset, and 32.1% of its tests reached 25% or more.4 Leafly lists 27% and AllBud 28%.1,2
Mint, by most accounts. Leafly users list mint, ammonia and menthol; AllBud lists herbal, menthol and sweet flavors over dank, earthy and fuel aromas; and 710 Labs, which lists a clone-only cut among its genetics, describes “a subtle OG gas with a fresh mint aftertaste”.1,2,11
Leafly users most often report uplifted, focused and tingly, and rate it mostly energizing; AllBud describes happy euphoria and focused energy with deep physical relaxation, and Hytiva lists focused, happy and sleepy. Leafly’s most-reported downsides are dizzy, anxious and dry mouth.1,2,12

Triangle Mints does not appear in the sales rankings we checked: Leafly’s best-selling strains of 2025, drawn from millions of dispensary orders, and The Marijuana Herald’s September 2026 list of top sellers by state.13,14 Its family does. Wedding Cake, its #23 phenotype, was Leafly’s 2019 Strain of the Year and ranked #3 nationally in Leafly’s 2025 orders, and three of Wedding Cake’s own children, Ice Cream Cake, LA Kush Cake and Wedding Pie, were the top strains in Oregon, Alaska and Rhode Island.3,13,15 In the Herald’s list, built mostly on Headset data for August 2026 sales, Wedding Cake leads Washington, and two strains that share Triangle Mints’ Animal Mints parent lead other states: Animal Face in Maryland and Kush Mints in Arizona.14,16,17
On its own the line has a smaller following: 91 ratings on Leafly against 2,706 for Wedding Cake, and 234 tests in our lab data, 162 of them from Michigan.1,4,9 On Oct 4, 2026, Weedmaps showed Triangle Mints flower at 48 store listings in 7 of 27 US markets, most of them around Los Angeles and St. Louis.18 Breeders keep using it: SeedFinder counts 29 direct descendants, from Seed Junky’s own Wedding Cake lines to crosses by Alien Labs, 1904 Genetics and Green Team Genetics, and Leafly made Trophy Wife, whose main version is Surfr Seeds’ Triangle Mints × Triangle Mints F2 cross, its top strain pick for August 2026.10,19
